Merry Christmas to you, wherever you are.
Yen and I are having a new one, Christmas in Hanoi. It hasn't felt as festive as last year, where we were in our home in daegu surrounded by friends, but it was still really nice.
We rented an apartment in Hanoi, which is an absolutely amazing place, and decided that we would spent a couple of days hunkered down, talking with friends and family etc. I had just finished my Celta and we had been travelling a lot, so having a real home to relax in kinda squashed any desire I had to leave. We are heading out today, and will see a bit of the north before heading off.
We also managed to watch most of the major Christmas films, and Yen cooked a great Christmas dinner. We also managed to skype with friends and family, so that was great.
With three full days left in the north I think we will spend one here in Hanoi, one in Ha Long Bay, and then a final one organizing what we will do for the rest of winter.
Our gifts this year was our trip to Vietnam, it was a great gift.
