I think I missed it that week I was in Manila.
Korea boasts (yes boasts) having four distinct seasons, but the more time I am here the more I realize that spring and fall last about 2 weeks each.
Certainly February was colder than April but April was still dropping down to freezing at night and usually no higher than 14 in the day (8-10 everywhere else). Now it's 30 or higher everyday and will stay that way until October. It is also never dropping below 18 at night. I fell asleep with the window open again last night with no blankets and slept soundly.
I won't complain about the heat, as I spent six months complaining about the cold. Plus, despite people who say they'd rather be too cold that too hot or that they love seasons...... well no one ever heard of Floridians flying north for the winter. You might be too hot, but you're not on the next plane to Siberia the way you were on that plane to Bali in January.
However, I do miss a real spring. Cool mornings and warm (but not hot) days. You know, 18-22 with low humidity, going down to 8 at night (not -2). Oh well, bring on the tropical summer.
